How to Create a Trustworthy Social Media Promotion for Your Event.

Attendees Share is a tool to help you increase attendance at your event through word-of-mouth marketing by allowing attendees to share well-designed information about your event on social media. In this article, we'll tell you how to use Attendees Share tool to create shareable content for your event and generate interest in your events.

Step 1: Build Your Content for Attendee Share

Start by uploading a background image or choose one of the suggested backgrounds.

We recommend sticking to the specified sizes to ensure the correct display of the image:
1200×628 pixels for all social media platforms
1080×1080 pixels for Instagram
400×200 pixels for logo image

Next, work with copy of your social media promotion. Add:

  1. Event Title
  2. Event Date
  3. Action Button

Go on, you can experiment with the size, color, and centering of the content as you wish.
Upload your event logo. This will help people identify your event on social media.

Step 2: Make the Attendees Share Feature Visible on the Event Webpage

To make it easy for attendees to share information about your event on social media, you can activate the “Display on the Event Website” option. This will plug the promotion tool into the event website, where it will be displayed at the bottom of the site and on the final registration page.

In the “Destination URL” field, provide the web address to which the attendee's well-designed information will link. This can be the event webpage or any other third-party site.

Step 3: Add Promotion Parameters

To create a catchy social media promotion of the event that your attendees will share, fill in the fields:

  1. Suggested Post
  2. Social Title
  3. Social Description

Step 4: Choose Channels for Content Distribution

To make sure your event information reaches a wide audience, choose the most relevant social media channels for your event.

Simply activate the relevant social media buttons. And your attendees will be able to share well-designed information on the social media outlets provided.

Step 5: Embed Attendees Share Feature into Third-Party Resources

Finally, the Attendees Share feature is easy to embed on third-party sites in a variety of forms.

You can choose from several options:

  1. Share Button Code. Copy the code and add it to the site so that the third-party site will place a “Share with friends” button. To see the look of it, click “Preview.”
  2. Embed Code. Copy the code then add it to the site to make the Attendees Share widget appear on the third-party site. Click “Preview” to see what it will look like.
  3. Pop-up Code. Copy the code and add it to the site to place a pop-up with the Attendees Share widget. Additionally, you can set the delay time, i.e. after what period of time the pop-up will appear to the site visitor. Click “Preview” to see what it will look like.
